Science has wondered many great things. It also has created many destructive things. Ecstasy is one of them.

Definition

Ecstasy is a synthetic drug with amphetamine like and hallucinogenic properties. It is classified as drug. It is the addition of such tiny magnets which are attracting the youth of the world and lead to the path of destruction. Another name of Ecstasy is MDMA (Methylene Dioxi Meth Amphetamine).

Formation

Ecstasy comes in a tablet form. Different companies often sponsor it such as Playboy bunnies, Nike swoosh, CK.

Usage

Users have Ecstasy in pill form. Before going on a party or club, they take ecstasy for charming their mind and to absorb in dancing. Someone also take ecstasy to remove heavy tension.

Normal Effects

Ecstasy generates deeply emotional effects. It intensifies the sense of power and self-confidence. It also produces the feelings of peacefulness, acceptance and empathy. A statistics show that users feel themselves too close with others and they want touch others. Nausea, unintentional teeth, grasping a loss of inhibition, transfixion on sights and sounds, chills, blurred vision and sweating are the dangerous effects of it. It can intensify the heart rate as well as seizures.

Ecstasy has a great stimulant effect. It enables users to dance or move for long periods. It can lead to severe dehydration and hyperthermia or dramatic intensification in body temperature in the hot crowded conditions. As a result, it can break down the muscle and kidney. It also can be a reason of liver and cardiovascular failure. Actually, cardiovascular failure has been reported in some of the ecstasy related fatalities. The after effects of it are insomnia, anxiety, angriness and depression.

Long-Term Effects

Using of ecstasy repeatedly may damage the cells that ultimately produce serotonin. Basically, serotonin has a vital role in pain, appetite, mood, learning and memory. According to a research, ecstasy can disrupt or interfere with memory.
